Spring 2014

"It's like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn't want to know the end... because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it's only a passing thing... this shadow. Even darkness must pass."
Samwise Gamgee, The Lord of the Rings, Two Towers

This past week marks the beginning of my final Spring Semester. I cannot believe that I'm in this stage of senior year! I remember being surprised when I was a senior in high school, and suddenly, I'm a senior in college, preparing for the real world. This week, I had to start seriously thinking about my next steps after college-- the dreaded-- INTERNSHIPS! We'll see how everything pans out, the dream is to intern on a movie set with the Costume Designer- but of course, no one consecutively films in Ohio.
The future is near and it's terrifying- I can only try and be prepared for what God has in store for me! Last semester, he knew what he was doing and I couldn't be any more glad- so I can't imagine he would do that to not have something great in store for me. Only time will tell.

"It's the oldest story in the world. One day you're seventeen and planning for someday. And then quietly and without you ever really noticing, someday is today. And that someday is yesterday. And this is your life."
Nathan Scott, One Tree Hill
