Flashback Fashion Friday: Easter LOTD

Florals are a safe choice for spring, we've all see The Devil Wears Prada where Miranda Priestly points it out as groundbreaking. (yes, I know she’s being sarcastic.)

So it's not exactly a surprise to see that Easter 2017, I wore florals and then this year, I did it again.

It is surprising to see how much Thomas and I have changed in a year. Last year, we were in Akron, and I was planning on going to Florida the next day. This year, we live in California and we were sending mom off to Ohio!

A lot can change in a year.

KJB Lately: Keeping Stock

This week we have seen the CFDA Awards, the premieres of The Incredibles 2 and Ocean's 8, the 20th anniversary of Sex and the City and in more somber news the passing of an icon, Katherine Noel Brosnahan Spade, known professionally as Kate Spade or Kate Valentine.

There were countless articles about Kate Spade's death: here, here and here

It is important to always check in on your loved ones. Keeping stock of your surroundings and your own emotional well being. Individual mental health is something that we should openly talk about, the way people talk about heartbreak, cancer, promotions. 

Everyone has their own struggle, that collectively we know nothing about. 

It should be easy and common place to talk about our health.
