Flashback Fashion Friday: August

August was a blur and stressful as hell! If you didn't know- July ended in a flurry and then I went to see my mom. Then I came back to a million degree heat and my air conditioning was still on the fritz. I took it in and found out that it wasn't drivable and that the coolant service system, or whatever, had a crack and it was leaking, making it impossible to drive. GREAT! Sure that took a couple weeks, and then I had to figure out what to do, get a loan, buy/lease a new car, fix the car. It was emotionally draining. While this was happening, I was under the impression that I had an ear infection as well. Thomas went to the vet, and he definitely had an ear infection.

Long story short, I got him meds, I got myself a new car: a 2019 Nissan Kicks. His ear infection cleared up, and mine turned out not to be an ear infection, but I didn't learn this until the very end of the month... it was terrible ear wax, yuck- gross, i know! I also didn't get that fixed until I came back from my friend's bachelorette weekend in Chicago. OUCH!

Introducing Vivian

Besides getting a new car, the universe gave us NEW TAYLOR SWIFT!! Lover is Swift's first album with her new label, and let me tell you- IT IS SO DAMN GOOD! We are just so blessed.

This was the day I headed to Chicago for my best friend's bachelorette weekend! Of course after dropping off Thomas, I had to head to Mecca, Drybar!

While romping around Chicago on Saturday, I wasn't feeling my outfit and THEN MY SKIRT RIPPED, my purple tank kept riding up and we went into H&M and I found SALES! So ya girl, changed up her look! 

Cannot wait until next month to show you all of the adventures we got into in Chicago (I left feeling like a Real Housewife), not to mention, I'm going on a Recruitment Visit AND MY BFF IS GETTING MARRIED!!!!
