Fall is my favorite. I'm not sure why, but nature's colors are perfection! The weather is the perfect temperature, truly if I could find a place that had temperature in the high 60s and low 70s, even mid 50s, I just don't like when it gets really cold and currently- I'm in HEAVEN!
I think fall is the best because it's essential when the world is Sepia toned- and who doesn't love sepia?!
This is the first time I've been home for every part of fall in South Central Ohio-- it's so different than Northeastern Ohio, and I love it!
Getting to be home for the first time in 5 years to pass out candy on Beggars' Night had me truly excited!
Sometimes-- it doesn't matter how old you are [23, going on 24] you have to beg your mom to pull over and take your photo. So you get out of the car to play in the the leaves in the hopes of getting fabulous "candid" photos and you realize your mom didn't get out of the car and just rolled her window down.
I'm lucky enough to have such a nice mom that she'll take my obnoxious photos that so many other people refuse to take. One of the many blessings of being back home!
I went to a Pumpkin Farm/Patch and went to an Apple Orchard/Farm... dreams really do come true!!
We all had the perfect autumn day, a beautiful, beautiful day where after taking our puppy brother to the groomers and going for lunch spent the rest of the day outside.
Running through the six with my woes, or something like that
I know I talk about Akron quite frequently- yes, I annoy myself too-- half of my heart is very much in Akron. But the other half is very much here at home. Words cannot describe how happy I am to be living [for free] at home again. Break to this begin the first time in four and half years that I've been able to go to the fair more than one day!
That's right, it's FAIR WEEK! Everyone loves fall, but it doesn't seem truly fall to me until the Fairfield County Fair comes to town, it's the last fair in the state of Ohio and the best-- but I'm biased, honestly I've never been to another fair.
Growing up Fair Week was a magical week, when overnight the town's fairgrounds would transform into a wonderland of food and rides and exhibitions. Some of the county schools get out the whole week, because they show animals in the fair but my school always got out Thursday and Friday, so mom always had a rule- while we would go during the other week days to look at crafts and have food and what have you, the games and rides weren't to be done until those free days. So on Thursday, we would get the morning wristband and afternoon wristband so we could ride rides all day long.
Now that I'm older- the rides have lost all their appeal. But the fair is still just as magical, the lights exciting and the people watching abundant. Being I was able to attend more than one day, I requested that we enter something into the fair so that we could have passes to go everyday- never mind the fact that we didn't actually take them over to the fairgrounds. I got to go with my friends from high school that live out of town, with my sister and our dog, Harry, he wasn't impressed-- but he sure did turn heads and also my mom.
If you're anything like me-- you're interested in what I ate... Mom & I spent Saturday, being that was the first time we could go together and the last day of the fair-- to eat all of favorites and get our fill of fair food!
We had:
Steak on a Stick
Cattleman's Special- it's so much more than a hamburger
Krazy Taters
Birch Beer- it's like Root Beer, but better
Chocolate Dipped Cheesecake
Deep Fried Cookie Dough
Pizza- I know what you're thinking-- but it's delicious!
Funnel Cake
Not only was it Fair Week--
But finally the day I've been waiting for-- my Rose Gold 6s Plus and case finally arrived...
