I'm just a walking contradiction today! I'm having a real case of the Mondays, went to work in flip-flops. Ordered an Iced Coconut Milk Mocha Macchiato from Starbucks, realized after I was at work- it was an Iced Caramel Mocha Macchiato.

But tonight... I'm seeing Bad Moms! So this day will turn around!

I'm With Her

Politics aside, watching the FIRST female presidential candidate accept the nomination with my mom last night was truly unreal. She's my hero, my inspiration and my number one supporter. She's given me the confidence that I can do anything I set my mind to. I remember in the 6th grade when I wanted to be the first Black, Woman President- and somewhere along this road called life- I stopped thinking I COULD become president.

Then in 2008 Barack Obama became our first African-American president and man, was that huge- I'm still realizing how that makes me feel very day. Now in 2016, as a 24 year old woman- muddling through life, I have the pleasure of seeing a WOMAN receive and accept the Presidential nomination.

I now get to live in a world where I can achieve anything I work for. ANYTHING. And my future children can now take for granted that no matter what their skin may look like, or their gender... no matter what- they too could one day become the President of the United States of America. And that's why I wake up this morning so in love with America and full of hope for our future. ❤️💙👦🏾👩🏼🇺🇸 So make sure come November 8th, you go out and vote! I Wish Someone Described My Face to A Pussy Cat

Met up with Miss Brandi this past Saturday after the Art Walk. We had a blast! We started off at Art & Clay on Main, otherwise known as 150 West Main, if you want coffee and a snack and great atmosphere- that's the place to go! Then we went to Edith Head & Company, check out those photos!

We had so much fun!

We made a plan to go talk more photos cause- who doesn't enjoy taking photos, hopefully next time it's not hotter than hell.
