Since May, we have met upwards of twenty-two women in our weekly feature, #WomanCrushWednesday.
First was Anna Wenning of Wenning Ribbons 'N Bows- she shared her inspirations and aspirations with us.
Secondly, Emily Lind of Em Prints Studio. She told us how she's going to school for her Master's while also running her business.
Next was Samantha Reid from Sicker Than Your Average Blog and creator of The Ashley and Alexis Show. She shared her struggles and her successes.
The next week we met Sarah Comunale, the woman behind 1800PopCultureBling and the face behind The Adventures of Tiny Drake.
Funny Fact: Sarah and I are modern day pen pals- we have a mutual friend and similar majors, so with our ongoing Snapchat streak and our constant text message- it doesn't matter much that we've never met IRL.
I've learned a lot from Sarah, I hope you have too.
After Sarah, there was Rachel Berens of Superstar Tennis. I can only hope that Rachel's selflessness gave you a Leslie Knope vibe and made you want yo give back to your community too!
Rachel now has a new job too! Congratulations, Rachel!
Then there was Alison Bertin, one half of the sister duo behind, LeBarf. The best advice for an entrepreneur hopeful- Go For It.
Next in our eighth week- we met Courtney Chrzanowski, 6th grade teacher and certified Personal Trainer, CLC Personal Fitness, LLC.
Courtney is a wonderful role model for her students and for her clients.
After Courtney, we met Emily Belden, author of Eighty-Sixed. I love this book! I hope that you've all been able to read it! I can only hope that Emily is working on another book.
Then there was Morgan Helser of There She Bows. Morgan showed us how a new mom could tackle an entrepreneurial venture.
The week after Morgan was the beginning of the Rio Olympics- after some summer blockbuster and DNC excitement, I thought it was important to showcase the women of Team USA!
Because honestly -- who knew the Olympics didn't end after Swimming/Gymnastics Finals.
Then there was Channing Hanneman of Channing Couture.
My hope is that you've been able to read her blog and watch her YouTube vibes.
Then with the ending of Edith Head & Company: Costumes and Jewelry 1924-2015- we highlighted both Susan Claasen and Edith Head.
Two incredible, awe-inspiring women.
Our fourteenth #WCW was Courtney Boyer of Courtney's Cut Outs.
Courtney, a teacher, coach, wife and entrepreneur shared how she keeps going.
Next was Zafi Ahmed of Renaissance Zafi. She shared her NYC adventures.
As someone stuck in Ohio daydreaming about moving to NYC, Zafi's perspective was extra special.
After that trip to the East Coast, we headed North- Northeastern Ohio to meet Bri Griggs and Stacy Moore, two of the women behind Young Women's Conference.
They had a successful day with wonderful women.
Then there was Devin Gooden of Ruby Divine. If you're even slightly tempted to wear a shoelace around your neck, then do yourself a favor and buy a wicked cool necklace from Devin.
Our next #WCW was Alaina Pinto, Morning News Reporter. She shared her journey from Ohio to Vermont with us and the importance of being involved in an organization.
Then there was Luisanna Tejada of Luisanna Tejada Photography. She shared her post grad adventure to NYC from Akron, OH. Was anyone else insanely jealous?!
Lastly, we had Jeannie McBride of Indiana's WFFT/Fox 55 News Team. We learned that only you can measure your own success.
I hope you enjoyed another Woman Crush Wednesday.
Stay tuned for the next installment of WCW in the new year!
xo,
KJB
